—————

What is awareness?

Awareness is an English word.

It means “to pay attention”.

Everyone should be comfortable at the rally.

The awareness team pays attention.

They watch out for insults and discrimination.

Nevertheless, all people should look out for each other.

They should be nice to each other.

The awareness team can also help you.

They know a lot about accessibility at the rally.

For example, they can tell you

– Where the accessible toilets are.

– where the retreat is.

– where it is quieter.

– where there are translations into simple language.

You can ask the awareness team anything.

The awareness team can also show you the way.

For example, the way to the toilet.

Or the way to the bus stop.

Or the way to the taxi.

What does the awareness team look like?

All awareness people wear purple warning waistcoats.

They stand at different places on the rally.

There is an awareness tent.

This is a place of retreat.

There is always an awareness person there.

What is the awareness tent?

The awareness tent is a quiet place.

You can always go to the awareness tent.

You can take a break there.

You can talk to an awareness person there.

In the awareness tent there are:

– Benches to sit on

– Sweets and savouries to eat

– Tea and water to drink

– Ear Plugs if it’s too noisy for you

– Toys to calm you down

– A fleece blanket if you’re cold

– Tampons if you are menstruating

Accessibility

What does accessibility look like at the rally?
